Innovative and rapidly growing automation and controls company wants to immediately hire a Service Engineer who is a highly experienced hands-on systems integrator.  The successful Service Engineer works in a fast paced environment and is cooperative, enthusiastic team player, optimistic, meets new people easily, dependable, consistent, patient, diligent, attentive to details and is self-disciplined. Service Engineers work in both an office environment when designing and engineering control systems and in an industrial environment.  Service Engineers work closely with the electrical contracting division as required.  They are led by an experienced Project Manager and work with a team to design systems and develop code for complex automation projects.  The Service Engineer is expected to service a large customer base composed primarily of dairy processing, food processing, bottling, and packaging industries.  Salary depends on experience.  Evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

PREREQUISITES
  • High School Diploma
  • 2-10 years experience troubleshooting industrial control systems
JOB DUTIES
  • Develop & troubleshoot PLC & HMI code as required
  • Troubleshoot industrial, mechanical, electrical and control issues
  • Assist with PLC & HMI work as required
  • Complete service tickets & daily time sheets accurately
