A successful Panel Shop Supervisor needs to be assertive, confident, self-starter, task oriented, enthusiastic, and able to delegate. A successful Panel Shop Supervisor also needs to be consistent, work in a fast-pace, high sense of urgency, diligent, attentive to details, organized, and precise.

  • 5 years of experience building custom industrial electrical enclosures
  • 7 years of experience as an Industrial/Controls Electrician or Production Electrician
  • Experience managing a team
  • Possess valid state Electrician Certification
  • Create and manage work schedules for Electrical Assemblers and Electrical Assembler Apprentices
  • Monitor and control safety requirements, schedules, equipment maintenance, quality, supplies, inventories, and panel shipments
  • Test control panels for proper operation and to ensure 100% accuracy in control panel wiring
  • Assist Controls Engineer, Manufacturing Manager, or clients during the Control Panel(s) FAT
  • Provide “red line” drawings and other documents for “as-builts”
  • Troubleshoot during shop test and in the field
  • Manage panel shop team
